Ahhh!!! Day 2 was - dare I say - even better than yesterday!!!🤩🔥🙌🏾

Going viral is what so many of us want but we have to cultivate the staying power to be able to handle the scrutiny, intensity, and velocity that comes with it.

We’re not doing it just for a moment of fame but for the opportunity to come out on the other side better, stronger, wiser, and with a bigger platform and more opportunities to share our message, he/art, and work with the world.

It requires a fortitude that is often forged in the fires of life. So we lean in and we stay long enough to realize we’re not burning up, we’re fireproof, baby.🔥😎🔥

The fortitude we’re cultivating is what’s gonna get us our viral moments, and it’s what’s gonna carry us through to the other side.

We can handle the heat, the kickback, and the beauty that comes with it because we can handle it all.🔥

I wrote up a whole post with these photos yesterday but IG didn’t save my draft so here we go again!😅

This weekend I hired a personal chef for the first time and omg it was amazing!!

Six or seven years ago I won a dinner for 4 by a personal chef and he came over and cooked dinner for me and my then husband and our two best friends and it was SO good and so much fun that I KNEW I’d have to hire one someday.

And this weekend was that day!!!

The chef came over and cooked a 4 course meal for me and my date, and it was all sooo good.

We were so stuffed by the end of it that we crashed at 6pm and took an hour nap just to recover!😆

But omg it was worth it.

It was one of those experiences I’ll always remember, and that was one of my goals at the beginning of this year:

To create memories, go on adventures, and book amazing experiences.

And this was def one of the amazing experiences and beautiful memories!!

I remember watching The Ellen Show and the guest she had on her show that day was a teenage boy who had gone viral while working at Target.

He shared how he didn’t know what to do with the fame and that he and his family were even receiving death threats.

Ellen told him he better learn a skill quick to capitalize on this moment.

And I felt for him.

The intensity of public scrutiny.

The fear of having your family threatened.

The pressure of coming up with something to keep the people happy / entertained.

It’s… a lot.

So it’s not surprising when someone going viral ends up becoming a one-hit wonder.

It becomes too much and the pressure too great, that it’s easier to contract and let the intensity dissipate than to turn that fire into fuel for reaching whole new levels in life.

I danced, squatted, and crawled around for nearly 5 hours, and I am feeling it today!😆

But I honestly love the feeling🥰

It was such a wonderful night that I love that my soreness keeps me reminding me of how magical that night was💫😍
