When Your Soul is Hungering for Change

I was looking through a note I wrote myself back in November 2017.

At that point in my life, I was hungering for some major shifts/change in my life.

I had read a book that lit a fire under me, and I knew I would need support in order to make these major shifts in my life.

Without support, I knew I would talk myself out of changing, growing, and following the desires of my heart.

It feels safer to stay the same… to not break too far out of the norm… not do anything too rash or risky lest I look crazy, be criticized, or, god forbid, fail

(What is failure anyway? Failure is just feedback. We create so many hypothetical scenarios about ‘failing’ but they’re all hypothetical! They’re completely made up and NOT REAL, and yet we let these fake scenarios in our head talk us out of doing THE VERY THING OUR HEARTS ARE CRYING OUT FOR US TO DO. It drives me crazy! Aaaaanyway, I digress…:).

I was determined to find a life coach who would support me in my goals, believe in my dreams, and help me pursue the life of my dreams, which, honestly, I was a little embarrassed to tell a life coach exactly what I wanted out of life and the dreams I have.

Because I have BIG dreams, BOLD dreams, and not everyone can handle what I want out of life.

So when I found Stephen Lovegrove, who gave me 100% of his support and believed in my dreams as much as I did, I was RELIEVED to know I wasn’t crazy.

To have ONE PERSON (besides my amazing John:) fully believe in and support my dreams and goals and actually WANT to commit to supporting me in all my endeavors… it all sounded almost too good to be true, except it wasn’t.

It was as good as it was true.

And I was THRILLED.

When I first met him, he asked me to do a little homework about why I wanted to invest in a life coach, why now, and what for?

These are the responses I wrote down in my journal back in November:

  •  I’m done waiting for someone to figure it out for me; I’m done waiting for someone’s permission and approval when all I’ve needed this whole time is my own damn permission and approval
  • This is about replacing old tapes in my head that have told me:
    • It’s better to stay small, quiet, and uncomplicated instead of showing up in my full, loud, complex self
    • To not be too big for my britches, that humble, good people don’t need money or fame
    • That taking care of myself and investing in myself is selfish; it’s not, it’s the best gift I can give myself, my family and the world
  • This is about me realizing we live in an abundant universe, not a scarce universe
  • I truly believe I offer a unique gift to the world and that I was meant to go as far as possible; that my message is needed in this world and that by me living out my fullest, truest self, I’m making the world a more beautiful place… and that’s what I want to do! [yassss queen! Is it weird to cheer for my former self?]

Why do I share this with you?

Because if you have ever wondered, “Do I need a life coach? What does a life coach do anyway?”, then this is for you.

I’m giving you a glimpse into the reasons why I hired a life coach.

I was ready to take my life to the next level.

And I was looking for someone who would believe me, believe IN me, hold me accountable, and support me 1000% every step of the way.

Do you see how much power is in that one statement?

Imagine one person who is always in your corner, who will fan your dreams into flame, who will equip you with the tools needed to live your most empowered, authentic life, and who will hold the highest vision you have for yourself as you embark on your journey?

Think of how unstoppable you would be.

That’s what I do as a life coach.

Not only do you get a powerful one hour phone call with me each week, but you also have unlimited text/call support during the rest of the week.

AND I’m always sending empowering quotes/poems/memes that speak to you and your situation throughout the week so that you receive a word of encouragement at times you might need it most.

I’ve done a lot of empowerment work in my life, but this is a whole new level that I am absolutely delighted to offer people who are ready.

It’s thrilling to support people in their biggest dreams, in their deepest desires, and watching them become the most powerful, brilliant, loving, successful version of themselves.

So if you’re yearning for this kind of support, if your soul is hungering for change, just like I was so many months ago, then apply here to work with me.

For once in your life, instead of talking yourself OUT of support, how about talking yourself INTO support?

You are absolutely worthy of it.

And so is your family.

And so is this world.

As Nayyirah Waheed would say:

“do not choose the lesser life.
do you hear me.
do you hear me.
choose the life that is. yours.
the life that is seducing your lungs.
that is dripping down your chin.”
